Malin Town one of Donegal's most successful Tidy Towns
Cllr John Campbell, Chairman of Donegal County Council is calling all Tidy Towns groups to save the date for the upcoming seminar on the challenging Sustainable Waste and Resource Management category of the national competition. The seminar will take place on Saturday 22nd November from 10am - 2.00pm in the Clanree Hotel, Letterkenny. All Donegal Tidy Towns groups are encouraged to attend.
The Council is delighted to have the following guest speakers confirmed for the seminar Debbie Nesbitt, National Tidy Towns Adjudicator, Odile Le Bolloch, EPA Waste Prevention Programme, Claire Bromley, Nature & Outdoor Learning Centre, Education Officer, NPWS.
The seminar is intended to give very practical advice to groups on ways that they can improve their marks in the Sustainable Waste and Resource Management category.
Booking is essential and it is advised that 2 - 3 representatives from each group attend the seminar and bring a copy of their 2014 Tidy Towns Entry Form.
